The main objective of the project is to increase active participation of young people in their communities in the City of Pregrada and the City of Otočac. The focus here is to empower them to participate in decision-making processes at the local level, increase the level of their trust in institutions and decision-makers, and bring the two groups together (youth and decision-makers) to work on issues of public interest. In addition, the project aims to encourage youth activism and volunteerism, and empower youth workers in the local communities. 

Stemming from the objectives, the activities include: trainings for youth workers and decision-makers, workshops for young people, events in which high school students simulate the work of City Councils, mentoring and supporting young people as they implement their own project ideas in local communities, and public events for networking and dissemination. 

The project is implemented by the Association Delta, the City of Otočac and the City of Pregrada with the financial support of the Central State Office for Demography and Youth, the City of Otočac and the City of Pregrada.
