Inclusionary - Art for Social Inclusion

The „Inclusionary – Art for Social Inclusion“ project bridges non-formal education and creative expression to foster social inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities, especially young people from rural areas, young people with disabilities and young people with a migrant/refugee background.

The project activities are aimed at creating a pool of good practice examples and educational materials that will serve to youth workers in non-formal education to enhance the inclusion of young people and their active role in the community. Interested youth workers, educators and other experts will have a chance to develop their skills and implement innovative educational practices that combine art and inclusion.
All the educational materials will be available for further use in various contexts of working with young people with fewer opportunities.

The project results are:

  • A State-of-the-art report on methods and practices for fostering inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities, containing good practice examples and recommendations for youth workers
  • A TOOLBOX with artistic methods for youth workers containing 4 modules: Needs assessment, Music and movement methods, Visual arts methods, Theatre methods
  • 3 LTTAs for youthworkers based on the TOOLBOX
  • A MOOC – online course with artistic methods for youth workers

The project no. 2023-2-RO01-KA220-YOU-000180609 is co-financed by the European Union through the Erasmus+ programme and will be conducted with the following partnering organisations: A4ACTION (Romania) - coordinator, InterAktion (Austria), Asociación Espacio Rojo (Spain) and GAIA Museum Outsider Art (Denmark).
