Delta as an example of good practice in the field of youth policies
ABOUT ACTIVITY
At the very beginning of February, on February 1st, 2023, we hosted the students of Pregrada High School, members of the Youth Advisory Board of the Krapina-Zagorje County and the Youth Advisory Board of the City of Pregrada, employees of the Krapina-Zagorje County, Network of Associations Zagor and LAG Zagorje - Sutla.
We presented the work we do in Delta, the strategic guidelines we are currently operating on and the projects we are implementing in the period of 2021 – 2023. We talked about the work we do with youth, as well as how we involve them in decision-making on the local level through the "Take Action!" program. During the two-hour meeting, Lucija Kero, the adviser for EU projects and the City of Rijeka youth, joined us and described some improvements the City was making for young people in Rijeka. She presented the new Youth Programme of the City of Rijeka 2023 – 2030, in which we also participated as members of work groups.
This study visit to Rijeka was carried out as part of the project of the Krapina-Zagorje County and the Youth Advisory Board of the Krapina-Zagorje County "Strategy for youth and the development of the youth sector".
