Measuring impact in civil society organisations

ABOUT ACTIVITY

On Thursday, the 16th of February, Andrijana Parić held a training on monitoring and measuring impact in civil society organisations.

Within the one-day programme, she taught us the definition and logic behind monitoring and measuring impact, shared her twenty-year-long experience and encouraged us to take on good and sustainable practices for measuring impact not only for our projects but our overall work.

As part of the training, there were many opportunities for discussion on topics such as the difference between monitoring and evaluation, monitoring impact on different levels (from activities to policies), and changes in the practices of measuring impact over the years.

The training was held as part of the project “Healthy Relationships” that is implemented by the Association for Human Rights and Civic Participation PaRiter in partnership with SOS Rijeka – Center for Nonviolence and Human Rights, Lesbian Organization Rijeka “LORI”, Association Delta, KUN Center for Equality and Diversity from Norway, the City of Rijeka and Varaždin County. The project is supported with €90.000,00 in funding from Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway within the European Economic Area and Norwegian grants framework.
