Training for youth advisory boards: Strengthening the tripartite agreement
ABOUT ACTIVITY
On Thursday, the 23rd of February 2023, Delta held a training to empower members of youth advisory boards of the City of Rijeka, the City of Opatija and the City of Križevci for meaningful participation and inclusion of young people in decision-making processes at the local level. Their ideas will be further developed through their tripartite Agreement on Friendship and Cooperation.
The hybrid training gathered 6 young people in-person and three online and was held from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The training was focused on the analysis and evaluation of the activities of the tripartite Agreement, as well as on planning future activities for strengthening the involvement of young people in decision-making processes in their communities. We are looking forward to their ideas and plans!
In cooperation with the City of Rijeka, on the second day of the training (the 24th of February 2023) the members of youth advisory boards had the opportunity to acquire extra knowledge from experts Marko Kovačić and Hrvoje Kovač, who presented innovative methods and models of youth work at the local level.
The project "Think, act, participate! - Strengthening Youth Participation Through Active Involvement in Policy-making and Advocacy" is implemented by the Association Delta in partnership with the City of Rijeka, the City of Opatija and the City of Križevci. The project is co-financed by the Central State Office for Demography and Youth, the City of Rijeka, the City of Opatija and the City of Križevci.
